Achieving the Muscle-up

Reader Comments (7)

Awesome video. I'm definitely going to apply some of these tips to my own quest to get my first muscle up. Love the site!

This is a great video! Many of the videos I've seen show a lot of crazy kipping... I love the focus on the fundamentals (set up / hand transition / rings close) on this video.

In addition, I love the site, and the equipment we purchased from againfaster!

Update: 6:00pm. Just went out to my garage, and on my 5th attempt did my first muscle up! Thanks AgainFaster!

Jon,

Just received the rings I purchased from your site and tried my first muscle up today. Took me a minute but I was able to do one, two, three, all the way up to 30. Only one rep at a time and about 30 seconds of rest between each rep, but it was a killer workout.

Thanks for the fast delivery, great video, and awesome articles. Love reading this site.

Nice job, Mike. The WOD will only go faster next time. Keep pulling, brother!

Best,

Jon

I'm going to get my rings soon (already made my order) and I'm going to scrutinize this video inside-out to get it right!

Cool video guys!
