Jon thanks for the instructional video. I personally have been having a tough time getting the form down, and the explanation of the wrist action helped out a lot. But now that I see and feel the difference between elbow and wrist rotation I think you left out one of the most important reasons for using proper form: rotating at the elbows just looks kinda gay. No offense to gay people.

Keep up the great work.

Very nice breakdown of the DU. One further tip that got me past sets of 10 DUs: don't forget to breathe! Some people (me included) tense up a lot in order to get all the elements together. One side effect is that you might be holding your breath without even knowing it. Once you've got all these elements together (timing of the jump, easy bounce, shoulders back, flick of the wrist), the best way to string together more and more reps is to keep yourself relaxed longer -- which means you should breathe easy too.

Hope this helps somebody like it helped me. It just clicked one day and I was suddenly doing strings of 50 DUs. :D
