Long gone are the days of flimsy, questionable door-jamb pull-up bars, and with them any excuse to avoid programming gymnastics into your home gym routine. With plenty of clearance for kipping pull-ups, the Again Faster® Home Pull-up Bar has the option to mount to a ceiling or wall, with the added benefit of being plenty sturdy to hang either gymnastics rings for skill practice or resistance bands for mobility work.

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

Whether installed in a home gym or strength and conditioning facility, once securely mounted to a ceiling or wall, this unit adds flexibility and function to any gym set up.
An 11-gauge steel frame with a zinc coated 1.25 diameter pull-up bar, engineered with triangular gussets, this piece of equipment is a solid addition to any gym set up.
Adjustable to a clearance of 14 or 26 from the wall or ceiling and a width of 48 OC, the Home Pull-up Bar can accommodate athletes of all sizes and offers a solid frame to practice both wide and narrow grip pull-ups.
Offers plenty of room to do kipping pull-ups or hang rings and bands, which will allow you to incorporate gymnastic movements into your programming without having to sacrifice space.
Mounting holes can be centered on standard stud layouts at 48 on center.
Hardware and assembly instructions are included.

PROPER USE & CARE

The Again Faster Home Pull-up Bar has a weight limit of 500lbs, however, the stability and safety of this unit relies heavily on the surface that it is mounted to. Oh so solid
I've got this bolted 8 feet high @ bar level in my living room, the installation was easy although I had to remove 1 star for not including proper lag bolt pilot hole drilling instructions. I am ~180 lbs. and confident that this rig will support my weight while I learn bar muscle-ups in addition to throwing all of my weight into it during pull-ups. Great product for a great price!

No frills, and that's a good thing
Straight forward pull-up bar. Super solid, hangs nicely from my garage ceiling (bolted into joists). I'm a little disappointed that the actual bar doesn't have a tighter fit into the frame; I could hand-tighten the bar further, but that bends the u-shaped piece of the frame. So, it remains ever-so-slightly loose. I do stationary pull-ups and chin-ups (no kipping) and it does the job well.

Best value on the market.
I ordered two of these bad boys so that I could have two heights. The width of the bar is excellent for those who want to work wide grip pull ups and the finish on the bar is fantastic and feels great for both strict and kipping pull ups. The base mounts solidly and there is no play at all when kipping. The heights work well for 9' ceilings, my wife is 5'4 and uses the low bar position, I'm 5'9 and use the high bar.

Great Quality!
This bar is awesome! Here is what I love about it: The bar is very easy to grip with the zinc coating. It is very heavy duty and sturdy. You can do some fierce kipping with no problems. :-) It adjusts EASILY for different ceiling heights/athlete sizes. It was a piece of cake to install! Took me (a woman..) about an hour, by myself. The cost!! It is very affordable!! I have another pull-up bar, off-brand, and I paid about $150 for it. It is the exact construct, but it doesn't adjust easily at all, so I have never adjusted it and the bar is powder coated and very slippery. Also, it isn't nearly as sturdy as the AF bar. I highly recommend this bar for any home gym!

quite nice
The only con is the bar is pretty thick (1.25) and has no knurling. It's very sturdy if properly installed, which shouldn't be too difficult for most people. The set comes with lag screws. The supports HAVE to be spaced 48 apart. It's not a problem as virtually every house in America has studs (joists, really, in this case) that distance apart, whether they are on 16 or 24 centers and 48 is divisible by both. In my case, I installed this in a walk-in closet. The joists weren't where I wanted them, so I bridged them with two sheets of 3/4 inch plywood, then attached the supports to the pull up bar into the plywood. I painted the plywood white to match the ceiling. It was more work but otherwise the bar would be too far to the left or right for me. You get a very wide 48 bar.
